The Aam Aadmi Party has finally won its first majority in the Municipal Council of Delhi polls, although its victory is not as one-sided as was predicted in the Exit Polls. It was a see-saw battle since early morning and at one point of time, the BJP was leading in 132 wards. At this point, both parties were upbeat about gaining a majority mark. Thereafter the AAP saw a surge in seats and was able to comfortably cross the half-way mark. The MCD poll results has a message for all the three parties in the fray, the AAP, the Congress and the BJP. We analyse the poll results to find out what are the big lessons the parties should be drawing from the polls.
